Whatever you're celebrating, your cake should be exceptional. All of our wedding and custom cakes are completely bespoke, and designed by Pippa to complete your day.
We will work with you to incorporate the design elements of your big day such as your invitation, florals and dress design, and use our creativity and expertise to craft a contemporary design that will set your cake apart from all others.
Our cakes are renowned for their deliciousness and elegant design. So, whether you’re having a small, intimate celebration or a more lavish affair, we can craft the perfect cake to complement your big day.
How to order
Please get in touch with us via the enquiry form, below, or contact us to make an enquiry or place an order. We can discuss and confirm your order by email and phone. Please kindly note that we recommend booking as far in advance as possible as we do book up quickly!

Given our current times, tasting sessions are undertaken remotely. We will deliver to you your choice of up to six flavours for you to try at your leisure. When you have completed your tasting, we will discuss your choices in person or via video link. Please provide us with an indication of your preferred dates and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There is a non-refundable tasting & consultation fee of £100, you can pay the fee via bank transfer.
Cake Flavour Menu
All our cakes are made using the finest ingredients from handmade salted caramel to elderflower syrup. We bake our cakes with the finest ingredients and complementary flavour combinations to create a delicious masterpiece.

Choose from a wide range of different cake flavours, each filled with 4 layers of our moist and fluffy sponge filled with 3 layers of filling per tier. We fill our cakes with a silky smooth Swiss or Italian meringue buttercream and a variety of delicious fillings, including curds, jams or caramel.
Some flavours of cakes on our menu are seasonal and may not be available all year round. We also offer wheat free options, contact us for vegan options (please enquire for further details).
Tasting Samples
All wedding and custom cakes include a complimentary thirty minute initial consultation and a thirty minute design consultation as well as a complimentary Wedding & Custom Cake Tasting Box which includes up to six flavours of your choice.

Portions, pricing & payment
The final price depends on the size, design and finishing embellishments, and cakes with more elaborate decoration will fall at the higher end of the price range. There are many size options and variations available so do get in touch with us via the enquiry form above to make a bespoke enquiry.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm your order. The remaining 50% is due 2 weeks before the delivery date, at which point all changes must be confirmed (changes to the previously agreed design may incur extra fees). Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance of the delivery date must be paid in full.
As all of our cakes are home-baked, and we devote a lot of time to ensuring that each is perfect, we are only able to take on a certain amount of orders per week and get booked up quickly. It is therefore advisable that you book your cake well in advance. Orders are only confirmed once we have received a deposit or full payment. We accept payment by card or bank transfer.
Delivery & set up
Pippa Martinson Cakes is based in Ealing, West London and supplies cakes for celebrations across London. Delivery and assembly will be charged according to venue location, please contact us for an accurate quotation.
Prefer to collect your cake yourself? Customers are welcome to collect cakes themselves from our studio in Ealing (subject to availability, booking required).
Cakes will be packaged ready for safe transportation, we can accept no responsibility for cakes once they have left the studio.

Cake stands: You may be happy to hear that you can hire your cake stand from us. We offer pedestal stands for tiered and single tier cakes for a £40 hire fee. There is a security deposit (starting from £50 per stand dependant on the type of stand), which is refunded to you after the stand is returned to us within 3 working days of hire (undamaged and in the same condition in which it was delivered). Please speak to us to arrange cake stand hire.
Handling, storing & transporting your cake
All of our cakes come with a free cake care guide leaflets which will be included in your cake collection box. These leaflets contain all of the information listed below as well as some illustrations to help you understand how best to cut your cake. If you need further assistance or have questions, please get in touch, we'll be happy to help.

Storing and transporting your cake

Store refrigerated between 0-4 degrees celsius, in the original packaging.

Pick up and hold the cake box from the bottom, never from the sides.

Transport in an air conditioned vehicle and keep away from direct sunlight.

Place the cake on a flat surface i.e floor of the passenger’s seat, never on the car seat or in someone’s lap.

Place in the boot of the vehicle ONLY if the back seats are folded down to allow cool air to flow through.

Displaying and serving your cake

Keep the cake refrigerated and place it on display just before the wedding starts

Ensure the room is air-conditioned or as cool as possible.

Keep the cake away from heat, direct sunlight and glass windows.

Your cake is best served at room temperature so remove it from refrigeration one to two hours before serving.
